Sales Professional

General Responsibilities: To prospect, cultivate, & secure sales opportunities within local market utilizing recognized effective lead generation techniques. General Responsibilities: To plan, schedule, organize and direct application engineering, field installation and start-up of assigned projects. Service Specialist

General Responsibilities: To respond to and carryout service calls, Customer Support Programs and small projects business. Scope of work includes checkout, troubleshooting and maintenance routines associated with installed fire alarm systems. Respond in a timely manner to all customer service calls, scheduled maintenance calls and emergency service calls as directed by Supervisor or Dispatch personnel. For service and emergency calls, attend to indicated problem, identify fault, analyze repair requirements, provide customer with appropriate solutions and carry out necessary repairs and replacements. Provide customer and company with detailed report of work done by completing all necessary paperwork to enable Convergint to correctly invoice customer and to enable job cost tracking.

Fire Alarm Test & Inspect Technician

Minimum Training/Education: Education: High School Diploma/GED
1+ Work Experience
Preferred Product Experience: •Understanding of fire alarm systems, products, service, and design; knowledge of construction industry and familiarity with local and national fire codes is desired, but willing to train the right candidate.
•National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technology (NICET) Level I certification is desirable, however not required.
•Effective listening and questioning skills, strong verbal/written communication skills are required.
•Individual must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

General Responsibilities: Accountable for the management and handling of pre-sale aspects of complex, larger jobs, smaller projects and/or multiple projects including estimating, design, tracking, start up and planning phases. May also provide ‘trouble shooting’ support to other departments/jobs. This position will work very closely with the sales account managers, participating in pre-bid meetings, site visits, design meetings and other activities necessary to complete a bid package or quote. This position will also be responsible for post award submittal packages including typical wiring diagrams, data sheets and scope of work clarifications. Performs role with little or no direction/supervision. Coordinates project priorities with account managers to make sure we are focusing on high probability projects. Pre-bid and Post award activities include project design to meet the intent of the specification; value engineering solutions to insure competitiveness; submittal packages as part of the post award process and effective communication with the Project Managers to assure that they understand the statement of work / scope of work in the prime contract.
