Service Account Engineer (SAE)

Renton, WA
Minimum Training/Education:
5+ years of experience in the fire alarm and/or security market with a strong knowledge of the service aspect of the business. The successful candidate should display strong customer service skills and a passion for service delivery. Knowledge of fire alarm design and code requirements of the local marketplace or security system design and installation is a must.
Preferred Product Experience:
Experience with automated dispatch, invoicing and service delivery financial systems a plus. NICET level 2 or equivalent certification also a plus.
General Responsibilities:
The SAE position is responsible for managing all aspects of assigned service accounts. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: •Full support and implementation of Customer Support Programs (service agreements) including: *Scheduling work *Tracking costs *Invoicing *Customer QA visits and follow-up •Act as primary customer point of contact for all assigned CSP and regular service customers •Coordinate schedule of inspections •Assist with dispatching technicians •Set-up and coordinate monitoring accounts •Order equipment for service orders and contracts •Price all parts and labor on service orders •Prepare invoices for service orders and service agreements •Track renewals of service agreements •Process all time-and-material service work, including collecting service tickets, creating invoices and reconciling work orders in financial systems (Forefront) •Direct interface with customers for service requests •Implement and manage a customer quality assurance program In addition to the operational aspects of the position, there will also be a sales aspect to the position to include: •Identify opportunities to grow the Customer Support Program base through proposal of additive services to existing customer CSP’s •Identify opportunities for new CSP customers •Aggressively develop and propose corrective service work based on results from testing and maintenance work for our existing CSP customers •Quote T&M and parts sales to existing service customers •Support the sales team by proposing pricing for small tenant improvement projects, adds to our existing CSP base, etc.

Web Application Developer

Minimum Training/Education:

Preferred Product Experience:
Preferred experience in: Unix/Linux environment-Web server security-Python or Perl. High level of demonstrated proficiency in: HTML-CSS-SQL (MySQL preferred). A working knowledge of: PHP-Ajax-Dreamweaver or Eclipse-JavaScript. General knowledge of: Database normalization-Client/server technology-Basic web design concepts.
General Responsibilities:
Summer internship in web development, can lead to part time position during school year. Working as a member of a team: review requirements and write programs to develop new features for customer web portal -analyze, review and revise programs for intranet site -review requirements and develop new features for intranet site-documents code inline and writes technical documentation-tests, troubleshoots and debugs web applications.

Senior CAD Operator

Minimum Training/Education:
One of the following or equivalent: (1) Two year Associates degree in Drafting / CAD with three years work experience.(2) Seven years work experience in Security Systems. -Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal) -Proven Leadership Skills.
Preferred Product Experience:
Knowledgeable on CAD2008/2010, experience with Access Control, CCTV, IP Video, Intrusion, Infant Monitoring & Fire Alarms, and strong working knowledge of Lenel.
General Responsibilities:
Responsible for design & drafting of Security systems, both design-build and plans and specification based projects. This includes floor plans, wire paths, riser diagrams, installation details and power calculations. Also responsible for generating product submittal documentation. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be able to interface effectively with customers and peers. Attention to detail and the ability to manage workload is also a key requirement.
