What is Terrific Tales? It's a two week national initiative sponsored by Companies that Care that is aimed at helping upgrade the educational environment at less-advantaged schools. The goal is to provide needy schools with classroom libraries of high quality books to engage the minds of young readers and motivate literacy. Many elementary schools throughout North America do not have adequate, or in some cases, any, libraries for our school children to read. On Companies that Care Day, Convergint supported the Terrific Tales initiative. Convergint's goal was to buy and/or collect 1000 books by the end of March!

Convergint Technologies successfully collected over 2,500 new and gently used books that were delivered to various inner city schools, a woman's shelter, and a Children's Hospital.
