Kasia is responsible for partner sales of Intel’s Video solutions for the Internet of Things. This includes developing GTM partnerships, co-marketing and sales acceleration strategies to drive revenue growth and adoption of computer vision and deep learning technologies with Physical Security, Smart City and Venues/Sports partners including OEM’s, ISV’s, VMS and System Integrators. Kasia is a 21-year veteran of Intel with deep technology expertise across IOT, AI, Computer Vision, Cybersecurity, Datacenter, and Storage. Kasia is also the Chair of the Security Industry Association Women in Security Forum.

Yemaya Bordain

Dr. Yemaya Bordain leads IoT Public Sector Sales at Intel. She drives the translation of innovation into practical use in the embedded defense and aerospace, federal, state, and local governments, and education. Dr. Bordain is passionate about creating a safer and more secure world and transforming the government experience through service-minded solutions that improve citizens’ lives and business foundations. Yemaya earned the Doctorate in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She holds patents in microelectronics and is the architect of products that are transforming the commercial aerospace and defense markets.

Ed Buffone is the Director of Global Health and Life Sciences Sales at Intel Corporation. Ed is a proven leader who brings many years of experience across the technology industry having previously spent most of his tenure in leadership roles at Apple, and HP. His experiences include hardware, software development and enterprise services, spanning a broad set of products and solutions that deliver from EDGE to CLOUD. During most of his career Mr. Buffone has led sales and technical teams in the healthcare and financial vertical markets. At HP Ed led up mobile application development services efforts for health and life sciences for several years during the onset of the mobile revolution. While at Apple, in addition to helping launch Macintosh, Mr. Buffone led the efforts in channels and new routes to market for Apple products and services. Ed is now the Global Director of Sales for Health and Life Sciences at Intel, part of the Intel Internet of things business unit. By working across a broad ecosystem of equipment makers, ISV partners and health solution providers, Ed’s organization focuses on enabling next generation edge to cloud solutions for optimized care deliver in Clinical Health, Home Health and Public Health.

David has been working in the RH&B industries for over 30 years helping some of the largest global organizations with their Digital Transformation. In his current role David leads a team of Industry experts located in US, Europe and Asia that drives Intel’s sales strategy and supports ecosystem development in these key industries.

Michael Bates joined Intel in June of 2015 as the Worldwide General Manager for Energy reporting up through the worldwide sales and marketing organization. Michael leads a team calling on the world’s largest organizations in the Oil & Gas and Utility segments. His mission is to create business value through the effective adoption of solutions and reference architectures designed to solve the industry’s most pressing business challenges. His role is responsible for delivering leadership messaging and setting strategic direction for accounts across the Energy sector. Mike serves on the board of the Gridwise Alliance and the Prime Alliance; working with its members to help navigate the transformation to the Utility of the Future. Previous to joining Intel Michael spent 20 + years leading within various companies in the energy sector. Most recently he was the general manager of Utilities at EnergyHub, prior to that he founded a consulting company where he led business development effort’s focused on implementation of consumer-facing smart energy applications and services. Earlier in his career he was with IBM as a member of their tiger team to lead business development efforts across key Grid Modernization opportunities. Before his time at IBM he served as VP of Sales at GridPoint which was one of the first to offer a full suite of behind-the-meter renewable energy services and solutions to the utility market. Before moving into the Utility market, Mike spent 13 years with Baker-Hughes, a leading oilfield services company where he served in a variety of business development and sales roles. His last position was head of international sales where he led a team responsible for the rebuilding of the Kuwait oilfields after the Gulf War. Michael holds a B.S. In Economics from Texas A&M University.
