From October 12th to 13th, the Convergint APAC team exhibited security solutions at Data Centre World Asia 2022, in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. As Asia’s largest data centre event, it was a great opportunity for all attendees to connect with data center professionals, technology business leaders, and innovators; to gain valuable insights from industry experts; and to explore the latest data centre innovations and solutions.
As digital transformation accelerates and a global digital economy takes shape, many companies regard their data centres as the heart of organizational intelligence, making them prime targets for attacks. As a global, service-based systems integrator, during the event, Convergint presented a wide range of end-to-end solutions and tools that help ensure the safety and security of data centres.
Known as a must-see part of Data Centre World Asia 2022, Convergint set up real-life, fully functioning solutions at a demo data centre within the exhibition hall to give attendees an immersive understanding of how these cutting-edge solutions, combined with Convergint’s expertise and capabilities, provide value.
Aside from the tech demos at the Convergint booth and the live data centre area, Convergint colleagues Henrick Macalua (Technical Support Manager, SEA) and Ricky Du (Vice President, Strategic Accounts & Service APAC) also delivered comprehensive presentations at the event. Henrick introduced diverse technologies used at different physical security layers within the data centre environment; while Ricky shared insights about a new approach to system maintenance, utilising cloud technologies and a physical service operations centre to deliver 360-degree maintenance across disparate systems and technologies.
