Through January and February, Convergint colleagues in APAC came together for Unite conferences across the region, held in Beijing, Chennai, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taipei. A longstanding tradition for Convergint in APAC, at their core these regional ‘annual meetings’ are a chance to recognise outstanding performance and to share Convergint’s culture, goals and strategies, and the role that each colleague plays in these. Colleagues from across the region not only had the chance to connect in person to exchange ideas and share experiences, but also learnt from valuable workshops with a range of focuses.

The core elements of Unite in APAC were:

  • Networking – the conferences had plenty of opportunities for colleagues to connect in person, meet old friends and new, and share experiences, all setting the foundations for smooth communication and collaboration, essential to delivering outstanding, consistent service across the globe.

  • Learning and sharing – sessions ranged from culture and strategy sharing from leadership, to smaller, targeted skills-building workshops, and an engaging ‘Jeopardy’ style quiz – an APAC conference tradition.

  • Awards – recognition is always a key focus with a formal awards dinner held in each location to celebrate outstanding performance from diverse aspects of the business. Long-serving colleagues were also recognised with a special ceremony for colleagues that have reached 10 years with the organisation.

  • Fun and laughter – ingrained in Convergint’s culture, fun and laughter was embedded throughout the events, such as regional team performances, colleague talent showcasing, team building and more.
