Convergint colleagues raised $16,640 during their 2nd annual Ken LaChance fundraiser. Organized by Convergint colleague Justin Neuberger, volunteers were able to purchase one or more squares from a raffle board, with the final square auctioned off to the highest bidder. Half of all funds raised went to the Ken LaChance Colleague Emergency Fund.

“The support from our team has been tremendous. Our mindset while organizing this fundraiser was ‘if we can’t help our own, how can we help others?’ Not only did we raise money for this amazing fund, but we got to have a little  fun and laughter doing it.”

– Justin Neuberger, Convergint Account Executive

About the Ken LaChance Colleague Emergency Fund

The Ken LaChance Colleague Emergency Fund is dedicated to the life and memory of Convergint colleague Ken LaChance for his contribution to Convergint Technologies and his unwavering support of his fellow colleagues.

The sole purpose of the fund is to provide limited financial assistance to eligible colleagues who are experiencing unforeseeable economic hardship due to certain emergency situations. Ken’s support and generosity lives on in all those that he helped and those who we continue to help in his name.

Ken LaChance joined Convergint on September 19, 2001. He establish Convergint’s Atlanta Convergint Technology Center with Mike Singer, Vice President of Operations. They were colleagues #14 and #15 to join Convergint. On September 6, 2015, Ken passed away suddenly, the result of a devastating stroke. Just shy of 14 years with Convergint, he was the ultimate contributor to Convergint’s success, the epitome of our Values & Beliefs, and a superb role model for every colleague.  He truly made a daily difference.
