On June 10th, Convergint offices around the world closed allowing more than 7,700 colleagues across the globe to donate their time and resources to more than 110 organizations for Convergint’s Social Responsibility Day. This year’s event included security updates at 29 schools as part of Convergint’s STEP Up initiative.

This year, Oregon colleagues volunteered their time by installing security cameras at the Clackamas Academy of Industrial Sciences. This donation was through the STEP Up initiative, which aims to help strengthen school security for underserved schools in communities around the world.

More than 100 Convergint colleagues worked to install 20 new security cameras, quadrupling the number of cameras on site at CAIS’s campus in Oregon City. This effort was estimated as a $50,000 donation in labor and equipment from Convergint to Clackamas Academy.
