The Center for Companies That Care recently announced Convergint Technologies was named to its Honor Roll. The Honor Roll is a national list recognizing employers for outstanding workplace practices and active community involvement. The Honor Roll celebrates U.S.-based organizations of all sizes in diverse industries. The Center for Companies That Care is a national, not-for-profit organization dedicated to social sustainability by engaging employers improving the lives of employees, families, and communities.

“Since the Honor Roll’s inception 16 years ago, many things have changed in our country and our business climate, but what hasn’t changed is that the companies on this list, like those before them, exemplify the best of the best,” says Marci Koblenz, co-founder and president, Center for Companies That Care.  “We hear about companies seeking employee engagement.  Well, we believe employee engagement begins with engaged employers like Convergint. They have remained connected with and committed to their employees and communities and to take into account the human toll when making business decisions.”

Honor Roll employers are selected for their adherence to all 10 characteristics of socially responsible employers. Each shows its unwavering commitment to employees and community service. These characteristics correspond well to the Convergint Values & Beliefs.

Convergint was built on a solid foundation of Values and Beliefs. The 10 Values and Beliefs drive our positive culture and are what truly make Convergint different. Convergint encourages our colleagues to live these on a daily basis, whether at home, work, or in communities; and colleagues regularly share Values and Beliefs with clients and business partners. In support of our Values & Beliefs, Convergint colleagues spend the entire day volunteering in their local communities for Convergint’s annual Social Responsibility Day.
