Hurricane Harvey has brought catastrophic, record-breaking flooding to the Gulf Coast area. Though Convergint’s Houston Technology Center is currently closed, our colleagues continue to be available remotely to ensure as much business continuity in the area as possible. Convergint’s Field Service Specialists will not be available onsite until the streets are open; however, our Service Coordinators are working from home answering emails and scheduling service calls.

“Our thoughts are with the local community affected by the storms, including a number of Convergint colleagues who have flooded homes. We have a team of volunteers from our Central Texas and Dallas Technology Centers ready to assist in the clean-up and rebuild when roads are again passable. Convergint remains steadfast in its dedication to being the best service provider possible, even during this tragedy,” said Ken Lochiatto, President & CEO of Convergint Technologies.

Convergint has a plan in motion to assist customers as soon as possible. Surrounding Convergint Technology Centers are mobilizing to assist the Houston location as soon as possible with their own assets and personnel. These additional resources will be available to our existing customers whose systems are integral to operation, as well as for any other local businesses who will be in need emergency assistance to resume operations.

Convergint Nation’s thoughts are with all affected by the storms, including Convergint colleagues in the Houston area, a number of whom have lost their homes and possessions due to the devastation. In the interest of helping these impacted colleagues through the difficult recovery process ahead, we have set up a Convergint-sponsored donation page to provide financial assistance to those colleagues and their families. and you can donate to the fund here.
