This competitive award program is designed to:
  • Provide funding to improve security at schools and on school grounds
  • Provide funding through evidence-based school safety programs
  • Establish and enhance a variety of school safety equipment and programs
  • Encourage the continuation and enhancement of school safety efforts to prevent violence within their communities
