The Ken LaChance Fund Board of Directors is excited to share that funding for the Ken LaChance Colleague Emergency Fund (KLCEF) remains strong, thanks to the incredible generosity of Convergint Nation and friends, family, and partners. Since the fund began in 2016, it has received over $1 million in donations and has made 100+ grants, totaling $316,789 granted too colleagues. The KLCEF is intended to support a colleague that is affected by economic hardship due to an unforeseen emergency. By all measures, the initiative to support colleagues in need has been extraordinarily successful.
Convergint is dedicated to keeping this fund strong so that it can continually support colleagues in need. Based on the current savings and income, it has been determined that Convergint can sustainably increase the maximum grant amount from $4,000 to $5,000. This will enable further assistance to colleagues affected by emergency financial situations.
