Dustin Banks is a Director of Support Services for University of Utah Health with over 17 years of experience. He currently oversees operations for customer and volunteer services, guest relations, interpretive services, telecommunications, and security and law enforcement contracts. Banks has directed many efforts in building systems that has led to the improvement of overall safety of healthcare personnel. He is the chair of the Behavioral Intervention Team, as well as the co-chair for the creation of Code BERT (Behavioral Emergency Response Team) that responds to acute behavioral issues.

James A. Romagnoli
Principle, Peconic Strategic Advisors
Mr. Romagnoli was the first and the immediate past Vice President and Chief Security Officer (CSO) of Northwell Health. He is currently the principle of Peconic Strategic Advisors, a security and crisis management consulting firm. Under the leadership of Mr. Romagnoli, Northwell’s Office Corporate Security was created as well as the merging of 22 security departments at Northwell Health into one service under the auspices of the Office of Corporate Security.
Mr. Romagnoli has experience maintaining regional situational awareness for the Health System and managing all Health System emergencies at any Northwell facility. Additionally, he was the Incident Commander for the Health System during the 2003 Blackout, H1N1 Flu Outbreak, including a joint mass vaccination venture with the Nassau County Department of Health. Mr. Romagnoli also serves as the liaison to the principal law enforcement and regulatory agencies governing healthcare regulations of narcotics and pharmaceutical safeguards.
Prior to joining Northwell, 21 years ago, Mr. Romagnoli worked with the New York City Police Department, retiring as a Detective in 2001. He served mainly as a Homicide Detective and as a member of the departments elite Emergency Service Unit. He performed numerous duties as an instructor at the NYPD Specialized Training School.
Lawrence M. Zacarese is the Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management and Chief Security Officer (CSO) at Stony Brook University. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the public and private sector overseeing and managing multiple law enforcement, emergency management, emergency medical services, and public safety organizations. In his role, Zacarese provides leadership, expertise, and strategic guidance to the Stony Brook community on emergency management and business continuity, environmental health and safety, risk management, and public safety.
Zacarese is a licensed attorney and holds a JD from Touro College Law Center, as well as an MPA (Inspector General) and a BA in Forensic Psychology from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. In addition, he holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Global Security and Terrorism Studies from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Criminal Justice Education from the University of Virginia, and a New York State Paramedic Certificate from Stony Brook University.
Zacarese is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School Senior Executives in National and International Security program, the 246th session of the FBI National Academy and the FBI Mid-Atlantic Law Enforcement Executive Development Seminar at Princeton University. He is a nationally recognized speaker, contributing columnist, and law enforcement subject matter expert and maintains an adjunct faculty position in the Graduate School of Professional Development at Stony Brook where he teaches Crisis Management and Legal Issues in Higher Education.

Chris Lutz brings over 27 years of experience across several industries, most notably over 18 years in the healthcare sector. He has held multiple leadership roles throughout his career in the areas of sales, marketing, and operations. Chris holds a BS from Michigan State University and an M.B.A from Roosevelt University.
Chris recently joined Convergint in 2021. As Vice President of Healthcare for Convergint, he is responsible for providing vertical support to field-based colleagues, as well as creating a strategic business plan and market intelligence oversight. Chris is supporting Convergint’s healthcare mission of integrating best-in-class technology solutions that deliver clinical and operational efficiency, enhancing the patient experience through standardized account management and local service, support, and execution for customers.
