Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and customer-focused Minor Works Manager to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will have responsibility for the planning, implementation, and coordination of small to medium projects that vary in complexity. 

Apply for this position if you have experience:

  • Planning, managing, and coordinating small to medium commercial projects of moderate complexity from award through completion of project. Includes review of scope of work, terms and conditions, including cost control, delivery fulfillment, and quality of service.
  • Coordinating the procurement of materials, supplies, and services necessary for timely, qualitative, and cost-effective completion of projects within budget.
  • Developing project implementation plans and schedules to meet customer expectations.
  • Working with Sales colleagues and/or writing detailed change order proposals as necessary.
  • Effectively communicating project requirements to the project team and management. Maintaining accurate and up to date records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records necessary for processing internal and external reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of previous, relevant engineering, field service, or project management experience preferred
  • Project management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills-ability to prepare effective written communications.
  • Attention to detail-ability to manage, and review documents, procedures, and reports to identify issues/errors and opportunities.
  • Project management experience-ability to deliver project outcomes/ results on time, ability to juggle priorities, and keep multiple projects on track.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to establish effective relationships, collaborate, persuade and influence.
  • Proactive, ability to work on own initiative.
  • Strong financial analytical skills including cost control
  • Willingness to take ownership of the role and take initiative and learn new tasks.
  • Adaptability-respond effectively to changes in situations or new information, be open and willing to learn new things, and take on new challenges
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite of products.
