Hackers breach thousands of security cameras exposing corporations, jails, and hospitals.

In March 2021, a group of hackers claim they breached a massive network of security camera data that exposed surveillance footage from thousands of cameras located inside companies, medical facilities, police departments, prisons, schools, and more. Security system surveillance cameras were the vector of the attack, with international hacking groups looking to ultimately gain access to company financial data, intellectual property, personally identifiable information (PII), and other critical information that can be used for blackmail or corporate espionage.
