“We expect to be our customers’ best service provider.” This is a founding Value & Belief at Convergint Technologies, and a driving force behind company culture. This may be Service Specialist Ted Paulsen’s favorite, but he has shown time and time again to exemplify all 10 Values & Beliefs to customers and colleagues.

“In the Milwaukee region, Ted has become a leader, not only for our younger specialists, but for when I need a specialist to solve an issue with a customer. I can rely on Ted to do what is necessary and be our customers’ best service provider,” said Service Manager Bill Malueg. 

The recipient of a Convergint ACE award, an honor that recognizes service excellence, Ted’s dedication to his team’s growth and development have not gone unnoticed. “Ted is a great example of V&B#1I am Convergint—I own my position on the team. He has become an asset to his fellow colleagues for troubleshooting advice,” said Debbie Fahey, Convergint Administrative Assistant. 

Ted credits his team for his continued success. “I have been entrusted to assist in the training of multiple colleagues, and I enjoy that immensely. The team I work with is great, and I wouldn’t be successful without them. Two years ago my wife was diagnosed with cancer, and the rest of the team stepped up so that we could continue to offer uninterrupted service during that time; everyone was nothing short of amazing. I appreciate it more than words,” said Paulsen.

In his free time, Ted enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his sons in a robotics league, and training in jiu-jitsu.
