Following the 2023 acquisition, POMT has continued to integrate into Convergint’s operations, bringing over 100 experienced colleagues into the growing team. Why is POMT becoming Convergint?
POMT was acquired by Convergint in September 2023, and since then, the teams have been working closely together under a shared culture and vision. As part of this continued integration, the POMT brand is now transitioning fully to Convergint, ensuring a seamless, consistent experience for customers and partners alike.
What is changing?
This is a rebranding initiative only. There are no changes to:
The POMT brand will be gradually phased out, with the transition expected to conclude by the end of 2025.
Are there any changes beyond the company name?
No. This change is purely related to branding. All other aspects of the business, including the company’s leadership, structure, and services, remain unchanged.
Will this impact existing customer or partner relationships?
Not at all. The company’s dedicated team, quality of service, and business operations will continue without interruption. You will remain supported by the same people you know and trust.
Do existing contracts or agreements need to be updated?
No. All current agreements remain fully valid and require no amendments.
What about new contracts or new service renewals with existing customers?
Since the POMT Pty. Ltd. legal entity remains active, all invoices related to existing contracts and service renewals will continue to be issued under the POMT Pty Ltd name. Over time, as customers are transitioned to Convergint agreements, corresponding changes to invoicing will be implemented.
Do customers or partners need to take any immediate action?
No. All current systems, billing details, and payment arrangements remain in place. Should any updates be necessary in the future, clear guidance will be provided.
Are there any changes to bank details?
No. All bank account information, including the account name and number, remains the same.
Will this impact existing customer or partner relationships?
Not at all. The company’s dedicated team, quality of service, and business operations will continue without interruption. You will remain supported by the same people you know and trust.
Does anything need to be considered regarding invoicing?
No. Customers may continue using the current details. If future updates are needed, Convergint’s finance team will provide instructions. Your local contacts are also available for assistance.
Has the company’s ABN number changed?
No. All relevant registration and identification details remain unchanged.
Do employees have new email addresses?
Yes. Whilst emails sent to former @pomt.com addresses will still be received, as of 1 July 2025, all colleagues are using email addresses in the format: GivenName.FamilyName@convergint.com
Why is the POMT logo still visible in some places?
As the rebranding is ongoing, you may still see the POMT logo on certain materials. All branding updates are expected to be completed by the end of 2025. Convergint brand guidelines are available upon request.
