Convergint’s Energy Principal, Advanced Solutions, Darin Dillon, will be speaking at two upcoming events. The first event is the Geismar Network Meeting on Thursday, May 30, beginning at 2:15 PM in New Orleans, LA. The second event is the 32nd Annual Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Seminar and Industry Trade Show on Wednesday, June 5. 

Dillon will discuss threats to facilities and software-centric solutions that improve processes, reduce risk, derive savings, and enhance overall workflow, which result in a return on investment (ROI). Additionally, he will dive into the many benefits derived from artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, biometrics, data mining, and more, to decipher “real risks” and seek a “return on data.” With over 35 years of experience in electronic security and a board member of the Energy Security Council (ESC), Darin brings diverse expertise as a speaker.

About Darin Dillon 

Darin is a Certified Protection Professional® who has developed a reputation as a business leader and security integrations expert, based on his 35+ years of broad experience working in the electronic security and integrated systems industry. He holds a Master’s in Security Management from The University of Houston Downtown and a BS in Organizational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University.  He is a business leader who keeps at the forefront of emerging technology and industry trends. He is often found consulting with C-suite leadership and is routinely asked to speak at industry venues on regulatory matters, security trends, and anti-terrorism. Darin is currently the Energy Principal for Convergint Technologies and is also a Council Vice President after serving 6 years as a board member for American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS). He also serves as a board member of the Energy Security Council (ESC) and teaches graduate students at the University of Houston Downtown on the topic of Enterprise Security Solutions.
