As part of its 22nd annual Social Responsibility Day, Convergint gave back to 32 schools through its STEP Up for Schools initiative. The goal of this program is to increase safety and security in K-12 schools, especially those in underserved local communities. As a global systems integrator, Convergint is in a unique position to step up and make a difference in local communities through its colleagues’ experience, talents, and connections.

Convergint colleagues donated time and materials to Ellicott County Schools in Colorado by installing sensors and security cameras to upgrade the schools’ existing systems. This project was featured in a recent newscast by KRDO News in Southern Colorado.
