STEP 1

Learn Your Convergint Credential
At Convergint, the majority of systems use the same username and password. This is commonly referred to as your Convergint Credentials. These credentials would have been emailed to you:

Username: [email protected]
Temporary Password:
<TEMPORARY PASSWORD>

For security reasons, you should enroll in 2FA and update your password as soon as possible, Steps 2 and 3.

STEP 2

Protect your account with Microsoft Authenticator (2FA)
Download and install the following app on your mobile device.

Microsoft Authenticator (MFA)

Multi factor authentication adds a second layer of security to your online accounts. Verifying your identity using an additional factor (like your phone or other mobile device) prevents anyone but you from logging in, even if they know your password.

Find the latest version of Microsoft Authenticator on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Once installed, follow the steps to get your mobile device enrolled:

1.    Sign in to office.com/signin with your Convergint account. You may need to sign out of your existing Office 365 account first or use an Incognito/Private Tab.

2.    On the More information required screen, click Next to begin enrolling your device.

3.    For Step 1: How should we contact you, select Mobile App

4.    For How do you want to use the mobile app?, select Receive notifications for verification and then click the Set up button.

5.    Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone and tap the ADD ACCOUNT button, then select Work or school account.

6.    Point your phone camera at the QR code on your PC screen

7.    You should now see the Convergint Technologies account in Microsoft Authenticator. Go back to your browser and click the Next button.

8.    Step 2: Let’s make sure that we can reach you on your Mobile App device: You should receive a notification on your phone to approve the login. If not, make sure you have the Authenticator app open on your phone.

9.    Step 3: In case you lose access to the mobile app: Enter your phone number so that recovery details can be sent to your phone in the event that your mobile app stops working, then click Done.
