Convergint Women Connect proudly sponsored the AcceleRISE Conference, reinforcing Convergint’s commitment to fostering a culture of growth, excellence, and opportunity for young women and up-and-coming industry professionals. AcceleRISE, presented by the SIA RISE community, is an event for young professionals and those new to the security industry. Attendees were joined by other rising stars in the industry to take their careers to the next level.
The AcceleRISE Conference included a dynamic lineup of inspiring, informative sessions on the most cutting-edge security trends and how attendees can sharpen leadership skills and maximize their potential. Some sessions included:
- Communication Skills from Small Talk to Team Meetings: tips and tricks as a young professional to really connect with listeners
- ChatGPT Panel: AI in the security industry
- EQ, Not IQ: the ability to recognize, understand, and deal with emotions and the emotions of others
- Unlocking Inclusive Access: access control and the world of security
AcceleRISE hosted many other events outside of the sessions to allow attendees to network, including a Rockies game, a reception at Wynkoop Brewing Company, and a welcome reception at the Denver Selfie Museum.

Convergint Women Connect (CWC) is a colleague-led affinity group which aims to evolve Convergint’s culture through four main pillars: advocacy, education, community, and visibility. CWC’s Advocacy subcommittee works to drive significant change for the women of Convergint through various initiatives, including increasing the number of women and women in leadership positions at Convergint.
The goals of the AcceleRISE conference complemented Convergint Women Connect’s deep commitment to ensuring gender diversity throughout the company, and its dedication to providing boundless opportunity for women across the organization.
