Speakers

Eric Yunag has over 20 years of diverse business experience in the system integration industry. Eric joined Convergint through the acquisition of his company in 2016 and has held a variety of leadership roles since that time. In his present role as VP of Technology and Innovation, he is responsible for assessing the impact of technology trends and developing strategies for business models, technology partnerships and solution offerings. During the span of his career, Eric has held leadership positions in operations, business development, and technology.

Mike Mathes

Executive Vice President, Convergint

Mike Mathes is currently Executive Vice President for Convergint in charge of Strategic Initiatives. One of Convergint’s founding members, he opened the Los Angeles and San Francisco locations for Convergint in 2002 and 2003. In his current role, he is responsible for global accounts, healthcare, utilities, digital transformation, financial, data center, federal government, and SLED strategies. Prior to Convergint, Mike held several positions at Johnson Controls over a 15-year career. He holds a B.Sc.E.E. from the University of Manitoba and in Canada.

Mr. Hirshorn is a Partner in the Private Equity Group, where he focuses on portfolio management. Additionally, Mr. Hirshorn serves as a member of the Ares Private Equity Group’s ACOF Investment Committee. Previously, Mr. Hirshorn served as an Operating Advisor for Ares from 2009 to 2013. Prior to joining Ares in 2009, Mr. Hirshorn was the President of Potbelly Sandwich Works. Previously, he was Senior Executive Vice President of Finance, Operations, Research and Development for Sealy Mattress Corporation. In addition, he was a Vice President in the Portfolio Group at Bain Capital, where he focused on providing operating leadership to a number of its retail and consumer products businesses, was a Manager at Bain & Company, and worked at Procter & Gamble, where he focused on product development. Mr. Hirshorn currently serves on the Board of Directors of DuPage Medical Group, The Azek Company (formerly CPG International Inc.), CoolSys, TricorBraun and Vmo Aircraft Leasing. Mr. Hirshorn holds a B.S. from Cornell University in Chemical Engineering and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Katie Creaser

Katie Creaser is Senior Vice President, Technology PR at ICR where she specializes in emerging tech, cybersecurity and IT solutions/services.

During her 17-year PR career, Katie has managed communications campaigns that have earned accolades from PRSA, Hermes, PR News and BtoB Magazine/Ad Age, among others. She regularly speaks at industry conferences and events and her commentary has appeared in publications including Entrepreneur, Forbes, Huffington Post, Inc., PR News and PR Daily. In 2016, Katie was recognized by the New York Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA-NY) as one of its 15 Under 35, an award highlighting the most promising young leaders working in communications in the New York metro area. She recently served on the PR Council’s PRC Next Board, comprised of 12 rising leaders tasked with bringing the perspective of the next generation to current industry challenges. Prior to joining ICR, Katie was senior vice president at Affect, a NYC-based PR agency specializing in technology, where she led the agency’s cybersecurity practice.

Katie holds a BA in Public Relations from Marist College. She lives on Long Island with her husband and spends her free time trying to keep up with their two young sons.
