Convergint is looking for full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and customer service-oriented technicians to join our amazing culture. The Security Service Technician plays a key role in servicing and supporting our customers and we will help you get to the level we require.

To be successful in the role, you will have

  • High-level communication skills – written, oral, and liaison.
  • Knowledge of applicable Australian Standards.
  • Good planning and project management skills and the ability to prioritise issues and tasks.
  • An understanding of quality assurance principles and their application.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a Service Technician related to Fire Systems, Audio Visual, or other integrated systems with industry or trade qualifications.
  • High attention to detail.

Required Certifications and Licenses

  • Have or be eligible to obtain an ACT Security License.
  • Car driver’s license.
  • Cablers license.
