As part of Convergint’s Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) initiatives, various affinity groups are being created to encourage members access professional development opportunities available to all , encourage members to pursue opportunities to enhance leadership skills, foster innovation and creativity, promote cultural understanding, and recruit and retain talent by fostering a culture of belonging. With the goal of expanding on this initiative, Convergint’s I&D council recently announced the launch of the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Affinity Group. AAPI Connect’s objectives are to help create a more inclusive work environment, provide a collective voice around shared issues or concerns, promote a respectful workplace, and advance internal and external initiatives.

AAPI Connect will host its first meeting on August 23rd, 2021 at 1:00 PM CDT where all Convergint colleagues are welcome to participate. AAPI Connect will be led by Chair and Vice Chair Grace Li and Nimesh Patel. Learn more and become a member below.
