On June 9th, Convergint offices around the world closed allowing more than 9,200 colleagues across the globe to donate their time and resources to more than 200 organizations for Convergint’s Social Responsibility Day. This year’s event included security updates at 32 schools as part of Convergint’s STEP Up initiative.
This year, Maryland colleagues volunteered their time by installing security cameras at The Lamb of God School. This donation was through the STEP Up initiative, which aims to help strengthen school security for underserved schools in communities around the world.
More than 40 local Convergint colleagues participated in this effort to improve the school’s overall security posture, including the camera, access control, and intercom system. This project will result in an estimated $40,000 donation in equipment from Convergint.
